The Mavericks are releasing a new album… called Mono it should be out in a fortnight… oooh, so excited! There have been a few little snippets and samples, but I have resisted them all, I want to wait until I have the real thing there in my hand!
The band is touring Europe and the UK, and I’m going to be seeing them three times, all in places I’ve seen them before, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. Last time they were over here was in 2013 and I was fortunate enough to see them several times, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Plymouth… memorable for so many reasons. There is a wonderful group of friends who are equally mad about the Mavs and we meet up and have a great time, before, during and after the gig!
