It seems to have been a long struggle…a longer struggle than usual to get my latest novel completed. I still have to do a lot of editing, and a lot of checking, double-checking and triple checking to make sure it is as correct as possible, with no spelling/punctuation/grammar/factual/continuity errors… However, now the third part of the Radwinter trilogy is actually done, hurrah!
The original story, which was written with no thought to it being anything other than a stand alone novel, was about a man’s research and investigation of his family history. As he unravelled his genealogy, his own life and relationships seemed to also unravel. The second (and for me unexpected) sequel dealt with his exploration of the other half of his family history. This third part deals with a more recent past, that of the people who brought him up as his parents. This story also looks at other issues, the problems of older people slipping into the third age of their lives, and horrific family issues and problems which are reflected in the history of the Radwinters, and a closer history than any of them might have expected.
So… the rough copy is complete… Now for the hard work!!

Well done, congrats! I’ve still got three more chapters to go one my latest novel…sigh…am taking inspiration and a virtual kick up the bottom from your blog post to finally get it done.
