We had a couple of new windows put in last year; thank goodness we did – the men doing it discovered that the old window frame was holding the front of the house up! We had to have building work done but at least our house is sound now – so thank you window fitting men! Apart from that they did a brilliant job and we have been really pleased with the windows.
We have now decided to have some more windows replaced, two at the front, two at the back and one at the side… and it is pouring down with rain… oh joy, that will be great fun… I mentioned a couple of weeks ago the saying, ‘rain before seven, dry by eleven’ – well it’s been heaving it down since way before seven, so let’s hope it’s going to be dry by eleven!

Don’t go cheap on windows and get the kind that you can clean both sides from the inside. Trust me I know from experience because any time you can avoid using a ladder go for it!
