I’m really particular about names for my characters and I research and choose them really carefully. I sometimes get criticised for unusual names but there is always some reason I’ve chosen them.
I was looking at current baby name; there was an article in the paper with pictures of cute infants and I jotted down their names for future reference:

Lark rise to Candleford. Dorcas is the Postmistress and she and Minnie are my faves. It only started airing in Canada but it could be years old to you.I love stories with a moral to them and also a happy ending.Guess that makes me an old Fuddy Duddy.

I didn’t ever see the TV series but I read the books.. I’d forgotten Dorcas and Minnie, thanks for reminding me, I must reread!
