I’m going to focus back on senses again – too often I concentrate on people and action, but both will be enhanced by sensations such as cold, brightness, ear-piercing sounds.
Thinking again about senses – it doesn’t just have to be what the characters feel, it could be what’s happening which would impact on their senses – rooks and crows cawing, trees shaking and rattling, sunsets. Although this has a first person narrator, with this story maybe more than the others in the Radwinter series allows me to step outside Thomas’s narrative and not necessarily have everything interpreted by him.
