Last night was the book club party to which partners were invited if they wished to come and join the festivities; everything was set for a good night, good friends, good food (masses of it) plenty to drink of all sorts, and the recipe for mulled wine (the wine, clementines, spices, one…. successfully made thanks to son’s friend who pointed out I’d forgotten to put the sugar in!)
