We wandered down for a quick one and found the pub fairly busy. We sat down in the cross-benches as our usual place was full and sat chatting and catching up with each other. There’s a very varied selection of songs on the juke box and Dolly Parton floated through, followed by Green Day, and then the still funny Benny Hill song ‘Ernie, the fastest milkman in the west‘. It must have been golden oldies night because next we had the old Ronnie Hilton song….
