On to the next album I’m sharing in music which has influenced me in some way. I can’t remember how I found him, maybe on https://radioparadise.com which introduced me to an amazing variety of different music, or maybe it was my first visit to Iceland… Somehow I found an amazing young talent, Ásgeir. He was so young, born 1992, so only just twenty when I first heard his music. I found it moving, mesmerising, and inspirational. Ásgeir Trausti Einarsson is an Icelandic singer and song writer and I saw him live in Bristol several years ago. This was the first album I bought and loved:
