In fact it is now available

I don’t know if it’s me, if it’s because I haven’t done it for a long time, or if it has always been an annoying – no – an infuriating hassle and ridiculously convoluted, awkward and unclear, but today I have been wrestling (and I promise I didn’t swear – well, not very much, well, only under my breath, well… ok maybe I did) but today I have been uploading my next and possibly last Thomas Radwinter book onto Amazon, as e-books to be read on Kindle and as paperbacks. When I first started doing this self-publishing, over ten years ago, I did from time to time get in a muddle and frustrated, but usually because I had not followed the process correctly, mis-read an instruction, not realised some vital thing, or just been my usual silly self. Since that time, I would have thought as I became more adept, the process of doing it would have been rationalised, because – even allowing for me and my lack of concentration and wandering thoughts, I would be able to go through the process without too much difficulty. The manuscript has to be uploaded, a cover chosen, a blurb written, autobiographical details added, decisions made on layout, paper, design, etc and so on.

It has always been a fraught – I’d forgotten how fraught, and the system has always been clunky, but I felt sure in the last five years since I published “Winterdyke” it would have been improves and streamlined. No. No it has not. I’ve still been tearing my hair-out (not literally) and my language has not been literary but somewhat fruity.

However… within a few days, “Something or Nothing” will be available as a paperback, and in fact it is now available on Kindle!!

…and if you like e-reading, here is the link, if you prefer a paperback you will have to wait a little:
