I know, I know, I have far too many cookery books, it would take me until doomsday and beyond to cook every recipe I have… but one more little cookery book won’t matter, will it?
It only cost 99p from Oxfam, so it was charitable of me to buy it… that’s my excuse… oh and I might just do some baking today picau ar y maen, I think (welshcakes) or maybe the famous bara’r radell (griddle scones)… or perhaps I should just be traditional and simply make hufengaws wedi pobi (creamy Welsh rarebit)

It was first published nearly forty years ago and some of the recipes sound really old, as if they came from a family cook book… and even if it didn’t, I can pretend they did!
