I’d walk a million miles… (ok, fly to Belfast) to see Raul Malo!

Before the thrilling reunion of Raul Malo, Robert Reynolds, Paul Deakin, Eddie Perez and Jerry Dale McFadden as the Mavericks, Raul toured solo and had some wonderful gigs. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve met some very dear friends through the Mavericks and when Raul went to Belfast it was a great way for us to meet up!

I went with my daughter, and in the same hotel was my smart, sophisticated and slim friend Elly and her daughter all the way from the Netherlands. We took a little tour of Ulster together, and had a wonderful day before meeting up with our other dear friend, Susie and her daughter. It was a real mums and girls weekend because another Raul fan, Fiona was there, also with her daughter!

A brilliant combination… good friends, beautiful Ulster and the delicious Mr Malo!

No, I missed it… I find it really difficult on worpress to find my friends posts… I just keep getting cluttered with lots of other stuff, which is lovely as well, but I want to keep in touch with people!
I know Todmorden very well… off to look at the link you sent!

Hey, Lois, can you set up a RSS feed? I’m going to do that. I get 100 environmental and political emails (and online newspaper and casting notices) a day, and my blogger friends are all mixed in. I haven’t done it yet, but, I’m going to! See if someone can help you set it up. Then you click on a button in your browser bar, and all your blogs appear in a column. Sound good? Thanks for liking my post! I bought your book for my son to read. It’s on his stack. He’s very into sci-fi at the moment and have not been able to wrench him away. – Kaye

This sounds a bit technical… I’ll ask my son about it – he sorts out all the techie things!
I love all your posts – but don’t always catch them when they come out so I’m sometimes a little belated!
Thanks so much for buying my book!
