After such a miserable summer last year, I am so desperate to have some sunshine this year; to be able to wander around in light clothes, to be able to sit outside to eat, to have windows open at night because the sun has soaked the earth with warmth…
Today we sat outside with friends and had dinner beneath blue skies and with the sun pouring down onto us, I had bare feet and wandered around enjoying the feel of dry, dry grass, it was wonderful! I can’t remember when I last did this… Let’s hope we have a summer full of out-door dining!
