The grave of my great-great-father, Willesden green Jewish Cemetery, sacred to the memory of Samuel Moses; the inscription on this side is in English, on the reverse it is in Hebrew. “His good deeds praise him, his wife and children lament him.”
My great-great-grandmother, sacred to the memory of Rosetta Blanche; her grave is inscribed in the same way as her beloved husband. “Dearly loved and deeply mourned by all who knew her.”
Their son, sacred to the memory of Henry Edward Walford who died at the early age of thirty-two; again his inscription is in English and on the other side it is in Hebrew. “Fondly loved and deeply mourned.”
Two more sons, in loving memory of Edward John and sacred to the memory of Ernest Leopold, and as with their brother Henry, they have English and Hebrew inscriptions. “To know him was to love him.” “May our end be like his.”
My great-grandfather, sacred to the memory of Louis Frederick, “deeply mourned.”. His ‘wife’ was not Jewish, and was never acknowledged by the family. Louis’s English inscription faces the opposite way from the rest of the family, and he has no Hebrew inscription.

I am also a descendant of Samuel Moses. He was my gt, gt, gt grandfather. His youngest daughter Alice Carlotta Moses is my gt gt grandmother. You didin’t mention his daughter Alice in your post.
