Last year we visited a lovely pub cum restaurant called the Home Cottage in Redhill; my husband remembers it from the 60’s as being a rather uninviting place that he actually never went to, despite being a lad out on the town, Redhill town, for several years.
on the suggestion of a friend we went a couple of times last year and had a great meals. We’re back in Redhill ( he has a gig with his band the Sabres) so we went back to the Home Cottage… And it did not disappoint.
i had seabream with spicy couscous, yum yum yum, and he had grilled chicken with a Parmesan sauce, double yum from him too. We had a couple of glasses of rather nice Rioja, and then I went back to our accommodation to do some work and he went to drum with the Sabres.
