Great picture, Lois (Bari). I remarked to myself recently as I was riding up and over Mt Mee, near where I live, how green the place looked after some recent rain, but this picture reminds me that in Ireland there’s sometimes a very different kind of green that I never see here, however lush the terrain, and that this picture hints at. A greenness so intense that it hurts your eyes to look at. Wonderful.

It’s a wonderful place… and people have lived here for over 10,000 years… there are signs of their dwellings and the drying racks they made for fish from the nearby river.
