It’s only a week into May and we seem to be having more than our fair share of rain; I really want the nice warm weather to arrive, I want to be able to walk out without a jacket or jumper. I’m braving it with sandals and cropped trousers… are they called capris?… but really it doesn’t seem like nearly summer.
I hope we’re not in for more long bouts of rain, surely Somerset has had more than enough? If it rains much more then we’ll have to think about an Ark… there was one of those silly things on Facebook, comparing the Arc and the Titanic…Arc: made of wood, 45/450/75 feet, Titanic: made of steel 175/882/92 feet; Arc: 8 passengers and crew, Titanic 3547 passengers and crew; Arc: 50:000+ animals, 2,000,000+ insects, Titanic: livestock unknown; Arc: provisions for 1 year, Titanic provisions for 3 weeks…

Did you know how the Manx cat lost his tail. He was playing with the Unicorn and when Noah raised the door he jumped to get on board and the door chopped off his tail. The poor Unicorn didn’t make it though. Strange but true!
