My son is a fine cook and he has the best recipe for chocolate brownies… unfortunately I don’t have a photo of any as they are eaten as soon as they are made!
RORY’S CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
Oven temp 170° C
- 100g butter/margarine
- 175g caster sugar
- 75g dark muscavado or similar brown sugar
- 125g dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 eggs
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 100g plain flour
- 2tbsps cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Gently melt the butter, caster sugar, brown sugar, dark chocolate and syrup together
- Let cool slightly while beating eggs and sifting flour
- Gently and carefully stir eggs into mixture
- Fold in flour
- Put in lined tin cook 20-25 mins until still gooey but cooked

Just gained 5lbs reading the instructions!

Well Rory is as thin as a thin thing so maybe his chocolate brownies will lose those 5lbs!
