Is this a temporary thing… or is this the new way of posting on WordPress? Last night I wanted to submit a little something and gone was the normal new post page. I thought maybe there was a temporary issue happening and this morning all would be well…
No. I click for ‘new post’ and get the ‘beep beep boop’ message again and then come to a posting page which seems to lack or has hidden certain features… unless i just can’t see them. How, for example do I find my library of images for my featured image? How do I categorize my post? Well I have just discovered the latter… ‘Tags and categories’ are now one but written in very faint font… Where is the preview? Oh, there is is, down at the bottom.
Is this a temporary change? Is this the new look? Has something gone awry? There is an awful lot of space all round the edge of the page… what’s happened? I’m mystified and a little frustrated.
If this is a permanent change I don’t like it!

By the way, we have a friend whose surname is lewis and he always gets called Louie… do people call you that? (Some people who can’t pronounce Lois call me Lewis)

Everyone in grade school in Canada seemed to have a nickname. Mine was Louie and then came Screwy-Louie, then just Scewy. I heard a lady laughing at the the YMCA a few years ago and it was the distinctive laugh of a girl in grade four called Darlene. I asked if she remembered me and she gave me a big hug and said Screwy how have ya been. We both laughed our heads off. I guess I’m still Screwy after all these years. Wasn’t that in a song?

I add a new post through the dashboard now… it’s just getting used to remembering to do it that way… How’s your writing going, by the way?
