Much as I feel that parents have a right to name their child as they wish, I can’t help but feel that the following children will be glad that the New Zealand government would not allow their parents that right:

- Queen Victoria
- 2nd (also 3rd and 4th)
- Justice (also Justus and Juztice)
- Lucifer
- Mafia No Fear
I guess the poor girl who was originally named Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii is delighted that Judge Rob Murfitt allowed her name to be changed; at the time of the judgement he criticised the parents of Number 16 Bus Shelter, Midnight Chardonnay and twins called Benson and Hedges.

I think it is popular in some African countries and I can’t really see why it should be banned, it isn’t offensive and is no different from other names like Hope, Faith etc.
I love names… there was a girl my husband taught called Queen Elizabeth Ruthven!
